The team consists of four fifth graders, Amira Lee, Crystal Manylou, Ava Davis, and Lauren Tran. They participated in two different events in order to advance to the next round of competition.

The second event was an instant challenge: students were given a prompt and had to give as many different answers as they could in a short amount of time.
Glenhope Principal Wynette Griffin said watching her students compete at the state tournament was a reminder of the incredible opportunity DI provides for students. was able to watch the ASPIREneers state performance.
“The Improv team had some challenging elements to include in their performance, and it was exciting to watch them quickly formulate ideas and then perform for the judges,” said Griffin. ” I know they have gained valuable skills from the months of working together to get to this point, and the opportunity to travel to Global competition will just enhance an already rich experience.”
