You’re Invited to a Crawfish Boil!
A good-old fashioned crawfish boil not only reminds us that the South knows how to have fun, but that our community in particular has a heart for helping struggling families.
You’re encouraged to bring your friends and family to Cruise for Hope’s third annual Crawfish Boil at AJ’s in Grapevine from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The event promises live music, face painting, a bouncy house, raffle prizes, and of course—some bayou grub. Admission is free, and crawfish can be purchased at $8.00 per pound. For the hungry men out there, $30.00 buys all you can eat crawfish! Sausage, hot dogs, corn on the cob will also be served, along with beer and soda for purchase.
In its fourth year, Cruise for Hope is a non-profit designed by Kevin Langton to serve those struggling with cancer. The passion behind the organization sets out to serve all people and make a difference in the local community. The organization hosts other fundraisers throughout the year, including their annual Chili Cook-off, and Cruise on Lake Grapevine, which take place in the fall.
Half of the events’ collective proceeds will go to fund GRACE programs, splitting evenly with Operation Kindness. GRACE is grateful to be in the company of such worthy causes. We hope to see you tomorrow for a great day of live music, southern grub and cold drinks!
