Tarrant Regional Water District Will Lift Drought Restrictions on Monday, May 18th
The water conservation guidelines which the City of Southlake follows are in line with regional conservation efforts promoted by the Tarrant Regional Water District and required by contract from the City’s direct wholesale water supplier, the City of Fort Worth. Current City of Southlake watering restrictions will remain in place as per Southlake’s ordinance.
Any changes to the current, twice a week watering restrictions could only take place after an majority vote to lift restrictions by the City of Fort Worth City Council and then followed by the City of Southlake City Council. Look for more information next week on CityofSouthlake.com and MySouthlakeNews.com about water conservation and drought restrictions.
