Carroll Cross Country Teams State Bound
The Carroll Dragons boys’ cross country team won their fifth consecutive Region I title on Monday and earned a berth to the Class 6A state meet. The Lady Dragons finished third overall at the regional and will make their 19th consecutive trip to the state meet. Read more on Tuesday on

CEF Prize Parade Coming to Your School on Tuesday
The Carroll Education Foundation is excited to announce that the 2015 CEF Awarded Grants benefit all schools in Carroll Independent School District. CISD teachers took a lot of time and energy into carefully preparing their grant proposals. The Presenting Sponsor for the 2015 Culinary Celebration and Prize Patrol is Park Place Lexus. Keep your eyes open for the Prize Patrol Lexus on Tuesday, Oct. 27 driving around town to present the big checks to our winning classrooms, grade levels and programs. College Fair Wednesday at CSHS
The annual College Fair will be held Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. in the Carroll Senior High School gyms. Representatives from over 110 colleges and universities from across the country will attend the event. Spend less time filling out contact cards and more time talking with representatives by pre-registering at Pre-registration is not required to attend the event.

Annual PTO Craft Fair Coming to CSHS Nov. 7-8
The annual Carroll PTO Craft Fair will be held Satruday-Sunday, Nov. 7-8 at Carroll Senior High School, located at 1501 W. Southlake Blvd. It will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Nov. 7 and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Nov. 8. Admission is $3 for adults and $1 for children. Proceeds from the event benefit Project Graduation. Lady Dragon Volleyball Vying for Perfect District Run
The Carroll Lady Dragons are one victory from a perfect run through District 7-6A. The Lady Dragons defeated Colleyville Heritage 25-13, 25-15 and 25-14 last Friday. Carroll is 39-3 overall and 11-0 in district. The Lady Dragons host rival Coppell Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.

Lunch Time Improv at Dawson Middle School Oct. 30
Dawson Performing Arts Company presents lunch time Improv Show 2015 on Friday, Oct. 30 at 11 a.m., 12 p.m. and 12:50 p.m. at Dawson Middle School. All admission proceeds will benefit the Pitt Hopkins Research Foundation and Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Tickets and concessions are $1 each at the door.

Special Programs, PTO for Special Education Host Wednesday Event
Join Dr. Daisy Martin, LSSP, and Dr. Julie Harrison, BCBA of CISD’s Behavior Team, as they present an overview of Autism, behavioral strategies to address common behavior concerns, and Autism resources, in order to provide support for parents of children on the spectrum. Carroll Theater Performs “Young Frankenstein”

Texas 4-H Club Hosting Fundraiser Tonight at Feedstore BBQ
The 4-H Club is hosting a fundraiser tonight until closing at Feedstore BBQ, located at 530 S. White Chapel. The 4-H Club will have  chickens, rabbits and dogs for the kids to pet. Information will also be available about how to join the 4-H Club
