HEB ISD: Central Junior High Hosts Annual World Languages Bazaar
Central Junior High hosted the annual World Languages Bazaar on the evening of January 11. The cold weather didn’t keep over 400 parents and students from attending the event. Visitors sampled cuisine from China, France, Mexico, Spain, India, Lebanon, Jordan, Palestine, Sudan, and Egypt. Art, photography, music, games, and calligraphy were all on display at the bazaar. This event gives sixth graders the opportunity to experience the variety of language options and to meet the teachers and students currently in the World Languages program at CJH.
The World Languages program at Central offers students the opportunity to take classes in Hindi, French, Spanish, Arabic and Chinese. Thank you to all the parents, students, volunteers, and teachers, including Mrs. Attie, Ms. Danciger, Ms. Kaur, Ms. Huang, Ms. Hernandez, and Mrs. Salmeron, who helped make this year’s World Languages Bazaar a big success.
