City of Saginaw Announces Tarrant County Transportation Service (TCTS) Ride Program Enhancement

City of Saginaw Announces Tarrant County Transportation Service (TCTS) Ride Program Enhancement

The City of Saginaw partners with Tarrant County Transportation Service (TCTS) to provide a ride program with a one-way trip fare of $2.50 for Saginaw residents over the age of 65 as well as residents with disabilities. This program provides a guaranteed ride every Monday for medical trips, shopping trips, recreational trips, etc…between the hours of 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (no holiday or weekend service).

We are happy to announce that TCTS will be able to offer another day of rider service in addition to Monday in the near future. This additional day of service will come at no additional charge to users; the same one-way trip fare of $2.50 will remain in place. This was made possible by a recently awarded Federal Transit Administration service enhancement grant.

An added day of service will give eligible residents freedom to go to appointments, stores, visit friends, or where ever they choose for two days a week instead of our current Monday-only service. We look forward to sharing more details with you soon and we’re thankful for our partnership with TCTS!
