NISD: Jason Sanders named Technology Administrator of the Year by TCEA
Jason Sanders, coordinator of instructional technology, was named a Technology Administrator of the Year by his professional organization, naming him the top in his area in the state.
The Texas Computer Education Association recognized Mr. Sanders at its annual Educator Awards event, which honors exemplary work integrating technology in schools. Specifically, Mr. Sanders received the award for exhibiting exemplary vision and management of technology at the district level.
Mr. Sanders has been an educator for 12 years, the last six of which have been within Northwest ISD. He began his time in the district as a chemistry teacher before becoming an instructional technologist and later transitioning into his current role.
He attended the University of Kansas, where he earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees. He is a certified educator in both Google and Microsoft’s programs and is in the process of obtaining his educator certification from the International Society for Technology in Education.
