KISD: Allen, Davis, Lotton Win Board Elections
Places 1, 2, and 3 of the Keller ISD Board of Trustees were up for election Saturday, May 5, and unofficial results show that incumbents Karina Davis and Cindy Lotton will retain their Board seats, while Craig Allen will rejoin the Board in Place 1.
In Place 1, Allen ran unopposed after incumbent Jim Stitt withdrew from the race. Allen previously served in Place 4 on the Board from 2008-2017.
In Place 2, unofficial results had Davis winning with 66.84 percent of the vote over Pilar Fraser. Davis has served on the Board since 2013.
The three-way race for Place 3 went to Lotton with 46.36 percent of the vote, as Kris Kittle collected 39.71 percent, and Jon Rodriguez earned 13.93 percent of the vote. Keller ISD does not hold run-off elections; the candidate with the higher number of votes is the winner. Lotton has served on the Board since 2004.
Trustees will be officially sworn in at the May 13 Regular Board of Trustees Meeting.
