Colleyville: Fire Department Replacing AED Units

Colleyville: Fire Department Replacing AED Units
The Colleyville Fire Department is in the process of replacing every AED the City of Colleyville owns. The 50 new units will replace the existing units that have reached the end of their lifespan. AEDs are strategically placed throughout city facilities, as well as carried by police officers and other department supervisors.
Early CPR and defibrillation are the keys to saving lives during cardiac events, and we are proud to empower our citizens and employees to make a difference. Staff is also working on a program to equip our park concession stands with AED units and provide training to league volunteers.
