Trophy Club: Fourth of July Celebration Set To Light Up The Day and Night

Trophy Club: Fourth of July Celebration Set To Light Up The Day and Night

The Fourth of July Celebration in Trophy Club Texas is a time-honored tradition that encompasses three separate events throughout the day.  This is the largest event effort the town has in place and it is a cherished tradition for all who attend and participate.

The first event is the Patriot 5K and Fun Run which takes place during the morning time at 7:15 AM.  Staff works tirelessly to organize and facilitate the over 500 participants who come out show their patriotism and run with pride.  The Patriot 5K & Fun Run will start and finish at Byron Nelson High School. The next event is the Parade of Patriots at 9:30 AM, which showcases over 45 festively decorated floats that moves along a flag-lined route leaving from Byron Nelson High School.  This event is a personal favorite to many; the Parade of Patriots features local associations, businesses and special guests who all turn out to continue to show the town’s patriotism with gusto. Residents are welcome to set up blankets and chairs along the parade route to enjoy the fun and creative float entries. Patriotic beads and American flags will be passed out 15 minutes prior to the start of the parade to all parade bystanders. Lastly, the Town of Trophy Clubs activities culminates with Celebration and Fireworks event which take place at Independence Park boasting an attendance of nearly 4,000 people.  Featuring a safe and family atmosphere for people to come and enjoy live entertainment, activities for kids, food and drink options, and a glittering display of fireworks.  Make sure you find a good spot to watch the fireworks at 9:30 p.m. Launched from nearby and synchronized to patriotic favorites, the best view spots can be seen from in and around Independence Park.  Be sure to bring blankets and lawn chairs. It is the perfect ending to a day dedicated to the nation’s freedom and those who serve and protect it.  Interested in becoming a vendor at the event?  CLICK HERE.

An event like this can’t happen without the support of community businesses.  With the support of our local business and organizations, the Trophy Club Parks and Recreation Department can continue to create events that give families the opportunity to come together and make lasting memories; continuing to make Trophy Club a great place to call home!
