Going to the Stock Show? Here are the best ways to get there
Take in the sights, sounds and smells of exciting rodeo action, awesome food, shopping, livestock and equestrian competitions, midway entertainment during 23 fun-filled days — Jan. 17-Feb. 8 — at the Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo.
Parking at Will Rogers is $15 during the show. Consider these three stress-free ways to get to the show:
For weekend visits, pile everyone in your vehicle and park in Billy Bob’s Texas north parking lot. Enjoy the Rodeo Redline, a stress-free ride aboard a motorcoach to the Stock Show’s front entrance. The cost is $5 a vehicle, less than half the cost of Stock Show grounds parking.
The Rodeo Redline will operate every Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
To purchase tickets, visit the Stock Show & Rodeo website or call 817-877-2420.
Dash to the Will Rogers Memorial Complex on Trinity Metro’s new electric bus.
The Dash departs Fort Worth Central Station, 1001 Jones St., every 15 minutes and stops a short walk away from Dickies Arena on Gendy Street and Harley Avenue. Tickets are $2 one way or $5 for a day pass, which includes all of Trinity Metro’s bus services, TEXRail and Trinity Railway Express to CentrePort.
Two ride-share locations have been established for convenient pickup and drop-off:
- Will Rogers Memorial Center. Drop-off and pickup at 3400 Will Rogers Road South. (This is the best location for shopping, horse shows, livestock shows, petting zoo and entertainment in Will Rogers Auditorium.)
- Dickies Arena. Drop-off at 1911 Montgomery St./Dickies Way; pickup at 3596 Harley Ave. (These are the best locations for rodeo performances, the Bud Light Roadhouse and The Corkyard.)
