The City of Colleyville, in partnership with the Colleyville Chamber of Commerce, Tarrant County College, and Service Corps of Retired Executives, will open the Colleyville Business Center later this spring.
This innovative project will provide a central location for business development in Colleyville. The center will host a variety of business classes and seminars, entrepreneurial events, networking events, and will be the new home for the Chamber. The building will have offices, shared workspace, conference rooms, and business amenities.
The City is subleasing the building from Wells Fargo for five years, taking a commercial building that sat vacant for over 7 years, and activating the space on the City’s main commercial corridor. The space will cost just under $63,000 for base rent the first year, with a small percentage increase each year for the five-year agreement. The City has budgeted $200,000 to refinish the interior. The project is being funded via the Tax Increment Financing fund.
