Beat Leukemia Ball 2020 Update

Beat Leukemia Ball 2020 Update

Dear Leukemia Texas family,

Thank you for being dedicated to our important mission. After many discussions with multiple leaders in our organization, including MDs and PhDs in the medical community, we have made the difficult, but necessary decision to postpone the 17th annual Beat Leukemia Ball. We know how much this event means to you, our sponsors, guests and most importantly the patients and researchers who receive funding from this event. We did not make this decision in haste. The health and safety of our attendees, including patient families and those in a vulnerable age range are our priority.

Thank you for understanding the extreme difficulty of this decision and for your commitment to supporting our mission.

We will continue to closely monitor the latest developments and follow the guidance from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO). We will keep you updated on a new date for the Beat Leukemia Ball and other avenues to continue to support patients now as we navigate through the daily changes. Our neighbors currently battling leukemia need our support more than ever.
