NRH Parks Closed for Easter Weekend

NRH Parks Closed for Easter Weekend
In order to maintain social distancing requirements necessary in the battle against COVID-19, and to be consistent with the guidelines set forth by the CDC to minimize in person contact, the City of North Richland Hills is closing all parks to the public from 8:00 a.m. Friday, April 10 until 8:00 a.m. Monday, April 13. The weekend of Easter is typically a high use time for our parks with picnics, egg hunts, parties and other group activities that are contrary to our stay at home and social distancing efforts. The trails will remain open for use with individuals maintaining adequate social distance.
We understand that holidays are usually spent together with extended family, but this year we’re asking you to please stay home. Right now, the only people you should be spending time with are the people who live with you in your home. Attend religious services online and set up a virtual family hangout so you can enjoy a meal together, but separately. Make family memories that you’ll be talking about years from now when you’re all together – because you stayed apart in 2020!
NRH Virtual Easter Egg Hunt
The NRH Parks & Recreation Department invites you to have fun searching for colorful eggs from the comfort of your own home while social distancing. Visit between 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. this Friday, April 10, to participate in the virtual Easter egg hunt.
