Lane Closure Scheduled for Brown Trail

Heads-up, drivers! Starting Tuesday, May 26, northbound and southbound traffic will be reduced to one lane on Brown Trail between the intersections of Pleasantview Drive and Queensway during the first phase of reconstruction work by the City of Hurst.

This phase of the project includes water line relocations at the intersections of Brown Trail/Pleasantview Drive and Brown Trail/Shady Lake Drive and is expected to continue through July 6.

Drivers should expect delays and are encouraged to plan ahead or seek alternate routes when possible. This work is an important first step toward the future reconstruction of Brown Trail, 

The City of Bedford will also start reconstruction work on Brown Trail toward the end of this year and will coordinate with the City of Hurst to minimize traffic impacts. We know improvements to this corridor have been a long time coming, and we appreciate everyone’s patience as these necessary upgrades move forward.
