Make a splash and cheer on your favorite duck as it races towards the finish line at The Bedford Center YMCA Outdoor Water Park this Saturday, July 11! In our third annual Rubber Duck Race, participants will decorate their very own rubber duck, then cheer it on as it floats down the lazy river within the water park.

Plan on attending this weekend? Here’s what you need to know:

  • You’ll enter The Bedford Center YMCA through the outdoor water park entrance (on the left side of the building) at 2801 Forest Ridge Dr.
  • Rubber duck decorating will begin at 9 a.m.
  • The race will start promptly at 9:45 a.m.
  • Rubber ducks will be available, while supplies last (pssst, you get to keep your duck at the end of the race!)
  • Quack-tastic awards will be given out for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, as well as best decorated duck

Please note, this is NOT a swimming event; open swim will be during normal outdoor water park hours.
