Engine 201 Push-In Ceremony

Help us welcome our new Engine 201 into service!

This engine marks a special moment in Hurst. You’ll notice it looks a little different this time. Hurst is returning to its historic yellow fire apparatus, honoring the longtime tradition that defined our fleet for decades. Our last in-service yellow unit will complete its 20 years of service once the new Engine 201 is officially pushed-in to operation.

Engine 201 will be housed at Fire Station 1 and features all-electric tools, brand new hose, and updated equipment. As we have traditionally operated, this engine will serve on the front line for 10 years, then an additional 10 years in reserve service.
