Three Bedford Parks Receive New Swing Sets With Shade Coverings

Three Bedford parks now have new swing sets with shade coverings. The equipment is available at Harris Ryals Park, Dewey Tennant Park and Generations Park at Boys Ranch.

Families looking for a shaded place to play can visit three Bedford parks that have received new swing sets with shade coverings.

The new equipment is available at Harris Ryals Park, 2700 Cummings Drive; Dewey Tennant Park, 901 Monterrey Street; and Generations Park at Boys Ranch, 2801 Forest Ridge Drive.

At Generations Park at Boys Ranch, the swing set is located at the back of the park near Lakeview Drive.

The improvements give visitors additional opportunities for outdoor play while providing shade over the swing areas. Residents can visit any of the three parks to use the new equipment.

The City of Bedford also provides information about Bedford parks and a parks guide for visitors planning time at local recreation areas.
