TCC Board of Trustees to Meet Oct. 15 in Fort Worth

The Tarrant County College Board of Trustees will hold its monthly meeting at 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 15, 2026, at the TCC Trinity River Campus, 300 Trinity Campus Circle in Fort Worth.
The meeting will begin with the call to order, pledges of allegiance and public comment or presentations. Public comments are limited to three minutes. Residents who want to speak must sign up in person before the meeting begins, noting the subject of their comment. Registered participants will be called in the order requests were received.
Trustees are scheduled to consider several individual action items, including acceptance of a $25,000 Educational Partners Program Scholarship Award from the Embraer Aerospace Foundation. The agenda also includes proposed purchase agreements with General Datatech, L.P. for Cisco collaboration appliances and related support and software licensing, up to $284,009.44, and F5 application delivery controller appliances and related services, up to $1,256,177.
Other items include a resolution to operate under Texas Government Code Chapter 2267 and prepare public-private partnership guidelines, as well as a contract amendment with Vision Builders Management, LLC, for additional foundation structural repairs at SE SE02. The amendment amount is up to $308,754.24.
The board also is scheduled to review financial, investment and bond information reports; hear the chancellor’s report; consider meeting minutes from September; and receive a staff introduction for Sonya Brown, Ed.D., Northeast Campus vice president of academic affairs.
A closed session may be held for matters involving legal consultation, real property, personnel, security devices or security audits. The board may reconvene in open session to act on closed-session items.
