Grapevine Drug Take Back Event Set for Saturday

Grapevine residents can dispose of unused or expired prescription medications for free during the city’s Annual Drug Take Back Event this Saturday.

The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Public Safety Building, 1007 Ira E. Woods Avenue. The initiative is intended to help protect the community, keep medications out of the wrong hands and prevent them from entering the environment.

The event will accept unused or expired prescription medications. Needles, liquids and illegal drugs will not be accepted.

Residents are encouraged to bring eligible medications to the Public Safety Building during the event hours.
