After six years of service to Keller residents and businesses, former Mayor Pro Tem and Place 2 Councilman Sean Hicks bid farewell to Town Hall last week. City Council had the opportunity to recognize him and his contributions during their meeting on July 2.
“It’s not easy for people to step up and volunteer and serve the community for six years, and let alone do it in the way that you did,” Mayor Armin Mizani told Hicks, who decided this spring not to run for a third term. “You were a strong advocate — a lot of the things that we’re seeing in Keller were things that you pushed for, whether it be the Sports Park, whether it be the tax relief to residents, a lot of the infrastructure projects; a lot of that was done with you in office. And so I’m appreciative of you and the family for stepping up.”
We hope you’ll join us and the council in thanking Councilman Hicks for six years of hard work on behalf of our community!
