Play Tonight NRH & Family Movie Night
This July, NRH Parks and Recreation is thrilled to offer a double treat for families and friends! Mark your calendars for an unforgettable evening on Thursday, July 25, 2024, as we celebrate National Parks and Recreation Month with our exciting PLAY Tonight NRH and Family Movie Night event.
Evening of Fun and Entertainment
The festivities will kick off in the NRH Centre Outdoor Plaza, located between the NRH Centre at 6000 Hawk Avenue and the NRH Library. From 6:00 PM onwards, families can enjoy a variety of games and activities designed to bring out the joy of free play. With a focus on fun and engagement, these activities cater to all ages, ensuring everyone has a fantastic time.
Special Movie Screening: Kung Fu Panda 4
As the sun sets, the excitement continues with a special screening of the new family movie, Kung Fu Panda 4. Bring your blankets, lawn chairs, and picnic baskets for a cozy movie experience under the stars. While picnics are welcome, we kindly ask that you avoid bringing glass containers for safety reasons.
Delicious Treats and Refreshments
No movie night is complete without snacks! The Citizen Police Academy Alumni Association (CPAAA) will be on-site selling popcorn, candy, and water to keep you refreshed. Additionally, Frio’s Gourmet Pops will offer their delicious and ice-cold frozen treats, perfect for a warm summer evening.
