Targeted ground-level spraying for mosquitoes will take place Wednesday evening in three areas of NRH where mosquito samples tested positive for West Nile Virus.

Weather permitting, targeted ground-level spraying for mosquitoes will take place on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, in three areas of North Richland Hills where mosquito samples tested positive for West Nile Virus. Spraying will begin at around 8:30 p.m. The areas are highlighted on the maps below. They include neighborhoods that are: 

  • South of Loop 820 and east of Rufe Snow Drive
  • North of Loop 820, west of Davis Blvd and south of North Richland Boulevard 
  • North of Mid Cities Blvd, east of Smithfield Rd and south of Starnes/Rumfield
