Fire Chief Mike Starr Announces Retirement After 27 Years of Southlake Service

After 27 years of service, Chief Mike Starr has announced his retirement from the Southlake Fire Department. Since the start of his career as a firefighter and paramedic in 1997, Chief Starr has served as Fire Driver and Engineer, Captain of Operations, and was officially named Chief in 2008. During his tenure, he has also overseen the growth and development of the Southlake Fire Department with the establishment of multiple major facilities. READ MORE
