New Amenities Coming to Fossil Creek Park

Have you been wondering what is going in at Fossil Creek Park, 6101 Onyx Drive S? NRH Parks and Recreation is excited to announce a Bicycle Playground and Pump Track are coming soon. This will be a popular outdoor active space to be enjoyed by the NRH community.

So, what are a Bicycle Playground and a Pump Track? 

A bicycle playground is exactly what it sounds like. A playground designed with features for kids to ride. Bicycle playgrounds include features like ladder bridges, rollers and tunnels specifically designed to offer a variety of fun obstacles that safely build cycling confidence. A pump track is a track that allows the biker to move without pedaling or putting his or her feet down on the surface. All you have to do is pump your knees up and down, following the contours of the pump track, to move forward.

Construction is expected to be completed at the beginning of April, but is subject to change if there are weather delays.
