This month, our contractor Vanguard continues working on water meter replacement in neighborhoods located generally:

-north of Loop 820, west of Davis Blvd., south of Mid Cities Blvd. (Area 12 on map)
-south of North Tarrant Pkwy., east of Rufe Snow Dr., north of Hightower Dr., and west of Smithfield (Area 14 on map)

These areas are shown on the map below. If you live in one of these areas, you will receive a  door hanger a few days before the installation of the new meter.

Each Vanguard employee will wear a uniform with a visible company logo and their vehicle will be marked with the Vanguard logo. There will be a temporary service interruption when your water meter is replaced, but typically less than 30 minutes. Workers from Vanguard will do all of the work outside at your meter box near the curb and will not need to go inside your house. You will not need to be home when the meter replacement takes place.

After your meter has been replaced, you will have access to Eye on Water, which allows you to monitor your household’s daily water use. Go to www.eyeonwater.com or download the EyeOnWater app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store to access your information. You will need your latest water bill to get started. Eye on Water will ask for your Account Number. Enter the Account Number from your bill, followed by a dash and your Customer Number. Please note, it can take a few weeks after your meter is replaced for your data to appear in the Eye On Water online portal and app.
