With the new school year approaching, Keller ISD is reminding families that students must be current with all required immunizations to attend school, unless an official exemption is on file in accordance with Texas Education Code. Immunization requirements are set by the Texas Department of State Health Services in coordination with the Texas Education Agency.
Immunization records must include the student’s name, date of birth, and the signature, initials, or stamp of a physician or public health official. Requirements vary by grade level, with separate state guidelines for ECSE and Pre-K and for Grades K–12.
To help families meet these requirements, Keller ISD is offering several immunization clinic dates at the Keller ISD Education Center Board Room, 350 Keller Parkway, Keller:
- April 23, 2025 – 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM
- July 30, 2025 – 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
- August 5, 2025 – 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM (held at Teacher Training Entrance, East side of building, Texas RM III)
- August 7, 2025 – 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
- August 12, 2025 – 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Families can also access immunizations through Tarrant County Public Health.
Parents are encouraged to review immunization requirements early and ensure records are up to date to avoid delays in school attendance.
