North Central Ballet proudly celebrates the 31st annual production of its beloved holiday tradition — The Nutcracker. Founded in 1993 by Artistic Director Les Jordan III, the production has brought the magic of classical ballet to thousands of young dancers and hundreds of thousands of audience members across North Texas.
Presented at the prestigious IM Terrell Performing Arts Center in Fort Worth, this regional holiday staple attracts students from Keller, Southlake, Trophy Club, Roanoke, Hurst, Euless, Bedford, Colleyville, Grapevine, Denton, Fort Worth, and beyond. Each year, dancers from various studios and training backgrounds come together to perform in a world-class setting alongside seasoned professionals.
North Central Ballet’s Nutcracker has provided invaluable training opportunities for aspiring dancers while employing professional ballet artists, designers, choreographers, and production staff from across the globe. Additionally, the production has served as a gateway to the arts for over 100,000 schoolchildren through its robust educational outreach program and school-day performances.
With stunning costumes, breathtaking choreography, and a cast of over 150 performers, the production continues to inspire generations of dancers and patrons alike. North Central Ballet remains committed to keeping classical ballet alive in Northeast Tarrant County and providing opportunities for the next generation of artists.
