The Colleyville Police Department is partnering with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) for National Prescription Drug Take Back Day on Saturday, October 25, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Colleyville Justice Center (5201 Riverwalk Dr.).
This annual initiative provides residents with a safe, convenient, and responsible way to dispose of expired, unused, or unwanted prescription medications. The goal is to help prevent pill abuse, misuse, and accidental exposure in the community.
Participants can simply drive through and drop off their items—no questions asked. The service is free and anonymous, and Colleyville Police will make the process quick and easy with drive-through disposal.
The DEA and Colleyville Police remind residents that only pills and patches will be accepted. Liquids, needles, and sharps cannot be taken.
National Take Back Day events across the country have safely removed thousands of pounds of prescription drugs from homes and medicine cabinets, helping reduce the risk of misuse and environmental harm.
