The Timber Creek High School Falcon Band has received an extraordinary honor — an invitation to perform in the 138th Rose Parade® in Pasadena, California, on January 1, 2027.
The invitation, which came as a surprise to the students and staff, marks a major milestone for the Falcon Band. Timber Creek will be one of only five high school marching bands in the nation selected to participate in the iconic New Year’s Day event, which is broadcast live to millions of viewers around the world.
Representing both Timber Creek High School and Keller ISD, the Falcon Band will have the opportunity to showcase their musical talent and school spirit on a national stage. The Rose Parade, organized by the Pasadena Tournament of Roses Association, is known for its vibrant floats, equestrian units, and world-class marching bands from across the globe.
Band directors, students, and parents celebrated the announcement with pride, recognizing the invitation as a reflection of years of dedication, hard work, and excellence in performance.
“This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for our students,” one director shared. “It’s an incredible honor to represent our community and to perform alongside some of the best marching bands in the world.”
The Timber Creek Falcon Band will begin an extensive preparation process leading up to the 2027 parade, including fundraising efforts and rehearsals to perfect their performance for the national spotlight.
