Keller ISD students in grades 6–8 and their families are invited to the CTE Expo on Tuesday, November 5 at the Keller Center for Advanced Learning (KCAL). This come-and-go showcase is a hands-on introduction to Keller ISD’s 32 Career & Technical Education programs, designed to help middle schoolers explore interests and understand high-school pathway options.
Visitors can:
- Tour KCAL labs, shops, studios, and classrooms
- Meet teachers and students from CTE student organizations
- Try interactive, hands-on activities across career clusters (from engineering and health science to business, arts, IT, and more)
- Learn how CTE coursework connects to industry certifications, dual credit, and real-world experiences such as internships and practicums
The Expo is ideal for families preparing for high school course selection. Counselors and program staff will be on hand to explain pathway sequences, prerequisites, and how CTE classes align with graduation endorsements and postsecondary goals.
