Beginning December 1 shortly after 8 AM, Starnes Road will be closed to all traffic for about two weeks. The closure will run from Spring Drive to Partridge Drive.
Keller ISD has been notified so they can adjust bus routes as needed.
Whitley Road from Hickoryhill Road to Bursey Road is also closed and will remain closed during this time. Northpark Drive at Whitley Road will stay open to east and west traffic. Access to the three cul de sacs north of Northpark Road will remain open to local traffic only.
Crews will be installing a new water main through the intersection as part of this project. Starnes Road is expected to reopen for east and west traffic by December 15 so everyone can get out and SHOP LOCAL to support our Watauga businesses.
We appreciate your patience while we fix and improve the roads. It helps keep Watauga safe and running smoothly.
