Colleyville residents can once again take part in the city’s annual Leaf Recycling Program, which begins Saturday, November 22, and continues through early January. The seasonal program, operated by Community Waste Disposal (CWD), helps residents recycle fallen leaves and Christmas trees responsibly while keeping the community clean and sustainable.

Special Collection Dates

CWD will run five special collection routes beginning at 8:00 a.m. on the following Saturdays:

  • November 22
  • December 6
  • December 13
  • December 20
  • January 3

The January 3 collection will also include Christmas tree recycling. Residents participating in the tree collection are asked not to use plastic bags or sacks and to remove all tinsel, stands, and decorations before placing trees curbside.

How to Participate

Residents can simply set out their bagged leaves by 8:00 a.m. on the scheduled collection days. Leaves should be placed in either paper lawn craft bags or plastic bags and set separately from household trash if placed out early.

Those living in neighborhoods with Homeowner Associations are encouraged to check local policies for additional guidelines.

Regular rear-load garbage trucks will be used for these special pickup routes.
