Older adults looking to improve their confidence with technology can take part in free Digital Skills Workshops hosted by Connected Nation on Tuesday, October 21, and Wednesday, October 22, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Colleyville Senior Center.
The hands-on training sessions are designed to help participants age 50 and older learn how to use everyday digital tools more effectively. Topics will cover a variety of practical skills, from navigating smartphones and tablets to using email, browsing safely online, and managing digital photos.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own devices, but a limited number of laptops will be available for use during the workshops. Each day will feature multiple sessions, allowing attendees to choose the topics that best fit their interests. The workshops conclude with a technology lab, where participants can ask personalized questions and practice their new skills with guidance from instructors.
The program aims to empower older adults with the knowledge they need to stay connected and confident in today’s digital world.
Registration is required and can be completed online. For more information, contact the Senior Center at 817-503-1195.
