Keller High School’s homecoming is next week! Get ready to see HoCo-posals and shots of not-so-demure mums in your social media feeds. But first, the 2024 Homecoming Parade will get things started out right.

On Monday, Sept. 30, commuters will encounter heavy pedestrian activity and road impacts near Keller Middle and High schools as early as 4:30 p.m. Parade route streets will close at 6 p.m., including Johnson Road between Charles Street and Rufe Snow Drive.

The parade is scheduled to kick off at 6:30 p.m., with roads reopening as it passes; the route will start at the intersection of College and Lorine streets and travel west on Lorine, north on Jessie, east on Johnson and south on Pate Orr to the Keller ISD Stadium. A community pep rally will follow at the stadium.

If you’re not planning to join the fun, we recommend avoiding the area until about 8 p.m., when most roads will have reopened. North Pate Orr is expected to remain closed north of Meadow Circle North until 8:30 p.m. that night to accommodate float parking and pedestrian activity.
Please note: The Keller Public Library will close early that day (at 5 p.m.) so patrons and staff can avoid the closures.
