KPD officer connects with little fan

“My son and I were walking out of QT earlier today, and he about lost it when he saw a police car with lights on pulling in next door. We got to watch (from the sidewalk) Officer Furin talk to someone who made bad choices and discussed alllll the parts of the police vehicle. Then he got a *real* police badge that I’ve heard about the whole rest of the day and got to see what the inside of the car looked like. Thanks to Officer Furin for making his whole summer! He was flipping back and forth from wanting to be a firefighter or a police officer, but I think he’s gonna be set on police for a while.” – Elizabeth Mitias

Thanks for sharing, Elizabeth! Let your little one know we’ll be ready for him when he’s old enough for the academy.
