Southlake’s new Municipal Service Center (MSC) and Public Safety Training Tower will bring several City teams together at 1605 Brumlow Avenue when construction is expected to wrap up in early 2027.

The Municipal Service Center will become the new home for Southlake Water Utilities Customer Service, Streets & Drainage, Water, Wastewater, Environmental Services, Transportation, and Facilities Services. The site will also include the Public Safety Training Tower, giving Southlake Police and Fire personnel a dedicated place to train and prepare locally.

The move will be coordinated to avoid interruptions to essential City services. Residents will continue to have access to the services they need as teams transition to the new facilities.

One of the changes residents will notice is a new location for Southlake Water Utilities Customer Service. At the MSC, residents will be able to get in-person assistance with starting water service, paying a bill, or understanding their account. Utility payments can still be dropped off at the walk-up drop box in the breezeway on the north side of Town Hall.

The Streets & Drainage team maintains roadways and public drainage infrastructure. The Water team operates and maintains the system that delivers water to homes and businesses, while the Wastewater team manages systems that collect and transport wastewater.

Environmental Services supports stormwater management and water quality efforts. Transportation maintains traffic signals, street signs, and pavement markings, and Facilities Services handles maintenance of City buildings.

The new facilities are intended to provide space for operations teams that have outgrown their current locations, strengthen coordination across divisions, and support emergency preparedness. The Public Safety Training Tower will give Southlake Police and Fire personnel a dedicated place to build skills for situations they may encounter in the community.

As opening day approaches, the City will share information to help residents prepare for the transition to the Municipal Service Center and Public Safety Training Tower.
