Anamorphic Art Installation on Display at Generations Park Through Oct. 25

A temporary anamorphic art installation is on display at Generations Park at Boys Ranch through sunset on Sunday, October 25.
Created by Fort Worth artist Jan Riggins, the installation celebrates the ducks of the park lake. Visitors can find it in the large circle behind The Bedford Center YMCA at Generations Park at Boys Ranch, 2801 Forest Ridge Dr.
The artwork uses distorted shapes and perspective to create an image that comes together from one specific viewing angle. Visitors can look for the “Stand Here” sticker on the ground, find the intended angle and take photos.
The installation was originally planned for Art at the Park on October 3, but that event was canceled because of weather. The City of Bedford is presenting the artwork separately for a limited weekend display.
The installation will remain on view through sunset on Sunday, October 25, and will then be removed to protect it from forecasted rain the following week. The artwork is painted on linoleum, a portable material, and is expected to appear at future City events.
