Ground spraying will kick off as soon as this evening after mosquito samples collected from the trap at Fire Station 2, 737 Keller Smithfield Road, tested positive for West Nile Virus.
As our vendor works to accommodate customers throughout the region, spraying within a half-mile radius of the collection site will occur two nights between Thursday, Sept. 26, and Sunday, Sept. 29. Their activities will take place between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m.
