NRH Signal Art Program Update

The NRH Signal Art Program, launched in 2007, transforms traffic signal boxes into outdoor public art displays. The current gallery featuring music legends was installed nine years ago on 18 signal boxes across North Richland Hills. Now showing wear and tear from the elements, it will be replaced with a new signal art gallery.

The new theme, “NRH Texas Botanicals,” celebrates Texas’ native plants, flowers, birds, and pollinators, many of which thrive locally in NRH. The updated signal art will begin appearing throughout the city this month, with the full installation expected by December’s end, weather permitting. The NRH Signal Art Program is funded through donations and promotional (hotel/motel tax) funding.
