Old School Survival Skills: Beginner Quilting for Adults
If you have used a sewing machine and can sew a straight line, then this is the class for you! We will create a new square each month, and it’s not necessary to attend every class in the series. Today’s style is the Ribbon.
Please bring the following to class: a self-healing cutting board, round roller cloth cutter, clear ruler at least 18″ long, 1/2 yard of material in three different colors (preferably cotton as it’s easier to work with), and colored thread if desired (white thread will be provided). Scissors, markers, and pins will be available for participants. This is a first come, first served class for adults only. Ten sewing machines will be available for participants, and there’s room for up to five more machines for those who wish to bring their own. All handouts will be available at the Children’s Desk.
If you have never used a sewing machine, please register for the Absolute Beginner Sewing class for adults.
