Reduce Winter Water Use & Save Money

The City of North Richland Hills reminds residents that lawns need less water during the winter months when they go dormant. Watering with about half an inch every two weeks (or less if it’s been raining) is sufficient. Adjusting your irrigation system can reduce both water waste and your monthly bill. Sewer fees are recalculated each year based on water usage during December, January, and February, providing a more accurate reflection of indoor usage.
