As floodwaters continue to impact communities across the Hill Country and Concho Valley, state responders and equipment remain actively engaged alongside local officials to support ongoing emergency and recovery operations.

Governor Greg Abbott has signed a disaster declaration to ensure local authorities have the resources and flexibility needed to effectively respond to the flooding and protect affected residents.

“Texas will stop at nothing to ensure every missing person is fully accounted for,” said Governor Abbott. “We are committed to working closely with local leaders to support rescue operations, flood mitigation, and long-term recovery in every impacted community.”

State agencies are coordinating through the Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM) to deploy high-water rescue vehicles, helicopters, swift water rescue teams, and logistical support where needed most.

Texans affected by the floods are encouraged to visit disaster.texas.gov for up-to-date information on available resources, including shelter locations, road closures, and disaster assistance programs.

As conditions remain dangerous in several areas, officials urge residents to stay alert, follow local emergency guidance, and avoid flooded roads.

The State of Texas continues to monitor the situation closely and stands ready to provide additional assistance as needed.
