  • Caterpillar in Texas: Caterpillar Inc. announced a $90 million investment to prepare its facilities in Schertz and Seguin to produce the all-new Cat C13D industrial engine. The investment will create 25 new jobs, starting in 2026.
  • Ericsson in Lewisville: Ericsson has announced an additional $50 million investment in its USA 5G Smart Factory in Lewisville, adding to the initial $100 million investment announced in 2020.
  • Samsung in Texas: Samsung has opened two new offices in Texas, including one in The Woodlands and one in Austin, adding to the company’s continuing investments in our state.
  • H-E-B in Cibolo: H-E-B expanded in Texas with a new e-commerce fulfillment center in Cibolo, expected to employ 200.
  • LocalBounti in Mount Pleasant: LocalBounti opened its latest state-of-the-art controlled environment agriculture facility in Mount Pleasant, which is expected to create 50 new jobs.
