Word on the Streets

The reconstruction of Daniel Drive is almost complete, with the contractor scheduled to finish paving today (Friday, Oct. 25.)  

Up next is the reconstruction of Kirk Lane, from Northfield Drive to Kirk Court. The contractor is scheduled to begin paving work there on Nov. 11. Other upcoming street reconstruction projects include Post Oak Drive, Crystal Lane, Windhaven Road, Lake Side Circle and South Crest Drive. Prior to the street paving work, upgrades are made to the water and sewer lines located beneath the street, and repairs are made to curbs and gutters, where needed. The final project phases include complete removal of the old asphalt pavement, stabilization of the subgrade and placement of new asphalt pavement.These residential street reconstruction projects are part of the 2020 Street Bond Program.
