North Richland Hills residents, civic groups and organizations are invited to volunteer during the 2026 Fix It Blitz on Saturday, Oct. 17.
Organized by the City of North Richland Hills’ Neighborhood Services department, the free annual event brings volunteers and community partners together to provide essential exterior home maintenance for residents who need assistance.
Most projects will begin around 8 a.m. and will take place at various locations in North Richland Hills. Volunteers may help with yard cleanup, minor carpentry, exterior painting and other repairs.
The coordinated projects are designed to improve safety, accessibility and neighborhood appearance. Activities will be planned to support efficient, safe work while making a meaningful difference for the households served.
The Fix It Blitz also gives participants an opportunity to support neighbors in need and contribute to the well-being of the North Richland Hills community.
Registration is free. Individuals, civic groups and organizations interested in participating can register by calling 817-427-6659.
