BDO Releases RFI for Universal Broadband Service Access in Texas

BDO Solicits Feedback for Potential BEAD Projects

The Broadband Development Office (BDO) released a Request for Information (RFI) on Aug. 8, 2024, related to universal broadband service access for Texas. The office is gathering feedback before determining the most effective project area units for potential projects under the Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment (BEAD) Program.

The BDO encourages all interested parties, including internet service providers, local governments, nonprofit organizations, broadband industry experts and potential applicants, to review submission details and respond to the RFI by Aug. 29, 2024.
