The Colleyville Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to announce their Annual Women of Worth (WOW) Luncheon, a premier event dedicated to celebrating and empowering women in business, leadership, and community. This year’s luncheon, set to take place on November 13 at Aristide Colleyville, will feature an inspiring keynote address by Jen Hatmaker, New York Times best-selling author, speaker, and advocate for women’s empowerment.
Since its inception, the WOW Luncheon has been the cornerstone of the Colleyville Chambers efforts to uplift and inspire women in the community. Over past years, it has grown into a highly anticipated event, bringing together business leaders, community advocates, and changemakers from across the region.
Methodist Southlake Medical Center, this year’s presenting sponsor, is proud to support such an impactful initiative. Sherri Lewis, Manager, Community and Public Relations at Methodist Southlake expressed her excitement: “Methodist Southlake Medical Center (MSMC) was elated to be approached by the women organizing the Colleyville Chamber’s Women of Worth event! MSMC strives to be a community partner as often as possible, supporting the moms, grandmothers, aunts, and sisters of Northeast Tarrant County. Our mission is simple: to improve and save lives through compassionate, quality healthcare. As the presenting sponsor of WOW, we want women to feel loved and encouraged knowing that MSMC is part of the top health system in the country, according to Press Ganey. We’re excited to have a table at the event and look forward to hearing Jen Hatmaker’s pearls of wisdom. “
This year’s WOW luncheon theme, “Cultivate Creativity by Growing from What You’ve Gone Through”, deeply resonates with keynote speaker Jen Hatmaker, whose life experiences have shaped her personal and professional journey. Hatmaker will deliver an unforgettable keynote reflecting on these experiences and how they’ve molded her life today.
Jen Hatmaker expressed her excitement for the event, saying: “Any organization investing in the lives of women has my attention. I believe women are the heartbeat and engine behind every healthy community, and it is my life’s work to see them flourish. I lost a 26-year marriage three months into the pandemic and had to parent five kids through the trauma and upheaval. Four years later, I’ve absolutely grown through what I went through. Loss became a dark gift that ultimately gave me a brighter, wiser, more vibrant life. Life is challenging for everyone, but we get to choose what to do with our own stories. Being in a room full of women is my favorite environment on earth. We draw so much joy from each other. I can’t wait!”
Following her keynote, Hatmaker will host a Q&A session with attendees, offering further insight and personalized guidance. In addition, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in raffles for beautiful designer handbags and jewelry. Proceeds from the event will support the Colleyville Chamber’s mission of promoting economic success by connecting business with the community and fostering business vitality and community enrichment.
Hannah Mack, President and CEO at the Colleyville Chamber of Commerce, expressed her enthusiasm for this year’s event. “The WOW Luncheon represents our Chamber’s collective efforts to promote and celebrate women’s achievements in all facets of life. We are honored to have Jen Hatmaker join us this year and to continue our partnership with Methodist Southlake, whose unwavering support makes this event possible.”
The Women of Worth Luncheon will take place on November 13 at Aristide Colleyville. Tickets are available for purchase at colleyvillechamber.org or by calling 817-488-7148.
