Fire Department Offers Free Pool Safety Assessments

With summer right around the corner, the Fire Department is offering free pool safety assessments to all residents. The evaluation is a comprehensive look at your safety plan and recommendations for improvements. The department has partnered with Cook Children’s Hospital network to provide life jackets and no cost CPR training. Each year almost 400 kids under 5 years old drown in pools.
