Fire Station 2 Renovations Celebrated With a Rededication Ceremony
On September 24, Bedford officials and staff officially rededicated Bedford Fire Station 2 (3940 Martin Drive), following renovations that brought new life to a station that plays an important role in serving our community.
The project brought several enhancements to the station, including additional square footage and major improvements such as new flooring, a larger kitchen, expanded sleeping quarters, and other upgrades to create more functional spaces for our firefighters to live, work, and prepare for the calls ahead.
The rededication was a chance to celebrate the completed project, recognize the people who helped make it possible, and officially welcome our firefighters back into their newly improved home away from home.
